The Lovedare

40 - Love is a covenant
Ruth 1 vs 16 : But ruth said: entreat me not to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; for wherever you go, i will go; and wherever you lodge, i will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your god, my god.

Write out a renewal of your vows and place them in your home. Perhaps, if appropriate, you could make arrangements to formally renew your wedding vows before a minister and with family present. Make it a living testament to the value of marriage in God’s eyes and the high honor of being one with your mate.

Yes, it is really helpful

I concluded my 40days today(june3,2023), but we are more apart than we are together. She lives in a location with the kids that she won't tell me for 4months today. I have decided to give it a break, take time out for myself, live my life.

Day 40 was good, This helps but im starting ALL THE WAY BACK TO Day 1 tobmake sure I keep a strong and Godly marriage going into 5 years next June

God will help you through, im excited with what God is doing already.

Can't wait to renew our vows this time as committed Christians. We both have committed sins and have repented and asked God for forgiveness. I know I have learned from my mistakes and wont ever disrespect or dishonor my amazing wife ever again.

Amen! Rooting for you guys!

I finish my 40 days tomorrow, she is further away from me then ever before in my life. I planned to repeat the 40 days after I finished, I know now that she will not except my love right now. I will try to do this again when God tells me it's time.

I finished today. I dropped off my wedding vows in a nice leather bound book with some flowers. she did seem happy and even let me kiss her, a quick peck on the lips but she let me and even puckered up a little bit. I know God is still looking over our marriage and I am listening to him. I'll keep my distance for now and let God do his work in her heart and when I feel God calling me to repeat this I will. God bless all of you and your marriages, never give up. our God is a God of healing and restoration and he loves you and your spouse. I know God loves marriage and all of ours will be successful as long as we keep trying and give it to God. God loves marriage. God loves you. trust in him even when you feel like giving up God is with you and when you are down God will carry you. I'll continue to pray for all of you and I hope you will do the same for me. if anyone ever needs someone to talk to my email is PaulMAdams@live.com

for anyone I tried to motivate to keep going I don't take that back. although it hasn't improved my chances with reconciliation it has helped me grow into a stronger man. don't ever give up. just because I am not going to repeat this right now doesn't mean I am giving up. I will continue to show love through acts of service until she give me a sign she is ready for me to try this again. I'm throwing in the towel for the moment but not giving up the fight. I will step back so God can speak to her through her eyes and not through my gesture of love. I took the action and now I need to rely on him to do the work. I wish you all luck in your journey but I am going to put mine on pause after I finish this and wait for God to step in.

we plan on renewing our wedding vows on our 10th year anniversary
